In this video, I’m going to show you how to form a C corp and let you know if you should or shouldn’t do it.
Big companies like Walmart and Microsoft are all C corporations. Small businesses can also take advantage of making themselves a C corp if they plan on issuing stock and they can get investors. A C corp is separated from the owners or stockholders and they are taxed entirely separately. Owners can own one stock or a million shares of stock.
It is taxed separately from the shareholders so the corporation is going to be legally bound to pay tax on its profits and the shareholders are going to have to pay taxes on whatever dividends or income they receive from the business thus creating double taxation.
