😱How I failed at micromanaging – Learn from my mistakes
It was terrible and I had no idea how bad I was at management. Well, I’m not like that anymore, I get a lot more out of people now, and I get better results.
Now, I’d like to share all this with you in this video. If you’re managing people, you may not even realize you’re a micro-manager but they do because you’re not getting good results. If you have employees and you feel like you’re not getting the best out of them, it could be your fault. See if you can find yourself in this video.
✅01:31 – WHAT IS MICROMANAGING?
🔆9 BEST PRACTICES IN MICROMANAGING🔆
✅02:14 – 1. DEVELOP GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS
✅02:40 – 2. DELEGATE RESPONSIBILITIES
✅03:32 – 3. ALLOW DECISION MAKING
✅04:18 – 4. HIRE THE RIGHT PEOPLE
✅04:38 – 5. SET CLEAR EXPECTATIONS AS TO WHAT YOU WANT
✅05:20 – 6. LET THE EMPLOYEES FINISH THEIR WORK
✅07:08 – 7. BUILD TRUST
✅08:25 – 8. SET DEADLINES
✅09:43 – 9. STOP TRYING TO BE A PERFECTIONIST
Quit expecting people to be perfect because they’re not. Let’s get better at our communication and what we expect out of people. I think you’re going to find that you have better employees and people working with you instead of working for you because we all work together to get things accomplished. Let them know that it’s a team effort and we all just put in our parts. Not every team member is going to be able to put in as much as another team member so don’t expect everybody to do the same amount of work.
