These are things that we really, really need to think about. We don’t want to just shoot a video and stick it up. YouTube is basically telling you exactly what you need to do. But if you don’t read it and you don’t know it, then you can’t do it.
Should you forget about all the algorithms together?
The truth is, should you forget about the YouTube algorithm altogether? No, no, no. You still got to do everything and still do everything. In other words, you’ve got to have your tags. You got to have thumbnails, a good title, look at your metrics, your timing because It all works together.
It’s not, I’ll do these two things and I’m going to be fine. You literally have to do them all. There are some top YouTubers out there that have millions and millions of followers and they don’t do all these best practices. If you don’t have any, you need that decided advantage by doing the stuff you should do. Now, you’ve got two groups of people that watch your videos, right? You’ve got subscribers and you’ve got non-subscribers. That’s the only two groups that can watch your videos. So, what does YouTube do? Mostly they look at what the non-subscribers are doing, what is their non-behaviors too? Are they not commenting, not liking, not doing any of those things, or clicking away from your video? Now, if they’re not subscribing, liking, or commenting, it could be as simple as you didn’t ask him to.

It’s not just one thing I know so many people are searching for that one thing. That’s going to help their videos and their channel takeoff. It’s not one thing.
