What is affiliate marketing?

It’s the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make. It’s one of the oldest marketing practices ever. Basically, you send a company a customer, a lead, or some business and you get paid for doing that.

All you need to do is sign up for an affiliate program. The simplest one that most people do is Amazon. I want to talk about some of the different terms:
