👀👍How to increase engagement on your YouTube channel
You want to do it right? Do you want engagement? You want likes, comments, and you want subscriptions? How do you get it? I’ll share with you how I really screwed up my channel and how I got it fixed.
Why don’t we want more interaction? Well, we want it because the more interaction we get, the YouTube algorithm looks at that and say, Hey, that’s a good channel or that’s a good video. Since it is, and people are interacting, we want to show it to more of our audience because more people will actually watch that video and we can keep them on our platform.
Now, I want to give you some principles that will surely help increase engagement on your YouTube channel and videos:
✅02:00 – 1. THE OPTIMUM TIME YOU WANNA MAKE VIDEO IS 10 TO 14 MINUTE LONG VIDEO
✅03:51 – 2. EMPLOY BASIC SEO IN MARKETING PRINCIPLES ON YOUTUBE
✅05:05 – 3. ENCOURAGE VIEWERS TO COMMENT, SHARE, AND LIKE YOUR VIDEOS
✅07:16 – 4. VIEWER BEHAVIOR IN A TIMELY MATTER
✅07:50 – 5. BE CONSISTENT
✅08:54 – 6. USE CALL-TO-ACTIONS
✅09:38 – 7. USE THE TOOLS THAT YOUTUBE GIVES YOU
You’ve got to follow all these best practices. If you don’t follow these best practices, you’re not going to get engagement. It’s not going to happen overnight. You can expect it’s going to take months or years to build a channel. Now, some of you will say, “I don’t have months or years and I need some money right now.” Well, you can make money now on your videos by putting the links in the description that lead to a download so you can email them and sell to them whatever you got. As far as getting ads on your videos and all that stuff, it takes a while. You need to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time in the past 12 months before you can even qualify for advertiser dollars. So that’s going to take time. It just is.
